Youth are the future of any country. When provided with proper guidance and care, they have the potential to shape the future in ways that can significantly enhance national prosperity. Quality education, effective guidance, appreciation, proper training, leadership skills, and bright opportunities can inspire and drive youth toward success. Countries that have invested in their youth have seen remarkable achievements, demonstrating that the perceptions and approaches of young people can become the face of the nation. A country's vision often depends on the engagement of its youth, and governments should prioritize activities that support them. For instance, when the Prime Minister of Singapore was asked about the rapid pace of their country's success, he attributed it to their vision and encouragement of youth for national development. He likened youth to unshaped clay, which, when properly guided, can achieve significant results. From my interactions with youth around the world, I’ve observed that young people, regardless of their country, are deeply concerned about their nations and the world. Youth from developed countries exude positivity and are eager to bring about global changes through strong networks, collaboration, and continuous innovation. Similarly, youth in developing countries possess similar energy and expectations, but instability and a lack of visionary leadership often hinder their potential.
The influence of politics on a country's development cannot be underestimated. It is often said that to be a genius, one should surround themselves with other geniuses. Thus, the platform provided to youth plays a crucial role in determining the country's direction. Frustration, unemployment, and an uneducated mindset can dampen the potential of youth, leading to widespread repercussions. Nepalese people are known for their friendliness and helpful nature, often making decisions from the heart before the mind. A Japanese professor once remarked that "Nepalese youth have immense potential and caliber. If the country utilizes them properly, there is much to gain. Nepal sits on a treasure trove of potential, but it requires identification and exploration. The challenge lies with the political parties in Nepal, which need to recognize and harness this potential."
If our government can identify key areas for enhancement and provide resources, platforms, and inspiration for youth involvement, it could have a profound impact. The primary challenge remains the political situation in the country. Why have we not developed as extensively as our neighbors? Instability and a lack of strong vision are significant obstacles. Changing political parties may help, but ideally, existing parties need to reform themselves or be replaced by visionary new parties. Political leaders must decide whether they want to be remembered as leaders of a poor country or as contributors to a strong and prosperous nation. There is a significant opportunity for leaders to bring about change in various areas and be remembered for their contributions. Addressing issues such as corruption, education, health, mega projects, and opportunities will be crucial for progress.
Corruption, a major drain on government resources, needs to be addressed decisively. Countries with high corruption levels often face poor governance, although those in power may remain wealthy. If corruption is effectively managed, countries can become self-reliant. Education, too, is vital. It should be accessible to all, with a commitment from beneficiaries to contribute to national development. Such schemes can help governments recover their investments and foster quality education. Health care access should be made free to enhance confidence, productivity, and reduce corruption. When people are assured of their family's health and education, they are less likely to engage in corrupt practices. Mega projects, such as hydropower development and tourism, should be prioritized. Attracting domestic investors and involving the public through share distribution can help fund these projects. Nepal's natural beauty offers immense potential for tourism, and innovative ideas like cable cars to Mount Everest or unique tree hotels could attract significant interest.
In conclusion, the key to national development lies in addressing these issues and channeling youth power effectively. Political parties must move beyond mere rhetoric and take concrete steps to drive progress. If they fail to adapt and improve, future generations may not respect their legacy. It is time for political leaders to act decisively and channel youth energy for sustainable growth and prosperity. Change is what today's youth demand from our political leaders.

युवाहरू कुनै पनि देशको भविष्य हुन्। जब उनीहरूलाई उचित मार्गदर्शन र हेरचाह प्रदान गरिन्छ, तब उनीहरूले भविष्यलाई यस्तो तरिकामा आकार दिन सक्छन् जसले देशलाई ठूलो मात्रामा समृद्ध बनाउन सक्छ। गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा, उचित मार्गदर्शन र सराहना, उचित तालिम र नेतृत्व कौशल, र उज्वल अवसरहरूले उनीहरूलाई प्रेरित गर्न सक्छन् र सफलता प्राप्त गर्न प्रोत्साहित गर्न सक्छन्। ती देशहरूले जसले आफ्ना युवाहरूमा लगानी गरेका छन्, आश्चर्यजनक उपलब्धिहरू प्राप्त गरेका छन्, जसले देखाउँछ कि युवाहरूका दृष्टिकोण र तरिकाहरू देशको नयाँ अनुहार बन्न सक्छन्। देशको दृष्टिकोण प्रायः युवाहरूको संलग्नतामा निर्भर रहन्छ, र सरकारहरूले यस्ता गतिविधिहरूलाई प्राथमिकता दिनुपर्छ।

यदि हाम्रो सरकारले प्रमुख क्षेत्रहरूको पहिचान गर्न र स्रोत, मञ्च, र प्रेरणा प्रदान गर्न सक्दछ भने, यसले गहिरो प्रभाव पार्न सक्छ। मुख्य चुनौती भनेको देशको राजनीतिक स्थिति हो। किन हाम्रो देशले हाम्रा छिमेकीहरू जस्तो प्रगति गरेको छैन? अस्थिरता र मजबूत दृष्टिकोणको कमी प्रमुख अवरोध हो। राजनीतिक दलहरू परिवर्तनले मद्दत गर्न सक्छ, तर विशेषतः, वर्तमान दलहरूले आफूलाई सुधार गर्नुपर्नेछ वा नयाँ दूरदर्शी दलहरूले नेतृत्वमा आउनु पर्नेछ।

भ्रष्टाचार, सरकारको संसाधनको मुख्य नासक हो, यसलाई निर्णायक रूपमा सम्बोधन गर्न आवश्यक छ। उच्च भ्रष्टाचार भएका देशहरूले प्रायः खराब शासनको सामना गर्छन्, यद्यपि शक्तिमा रहेका व्यक्ति धनी रहन सक्छन्। यदि भ्रष्टाचार प्रभावकारी रूपमा व्यवस्थापन गरियो भने, देशहरू आत्मनिर्भर बन्न सक्छन्। शिक्षा पनि महत्वपूर्ण छ। यो सबैलाई उपलब्ध गराउनुपर्छ, र लाभार्थीहरूले राष्ट्रिय विकासमा योगदान दिनुपर्नेछ। यस्ता योजनाहरूले सरकारलाई आफ्नो लगानी फिर्ता गर्न र गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा प्रवर्द्धन गर्न मद्दत पुर्याउन सक्छ।
स्वास्थ्य सेवा निःशुल्क उपलब्ध गराउनु महत्वपूर्ण छ, जसले आत्मविश्वास, उत्पादकता बढाउन र भ्रष्टाचार कम गर्न मद्दत गर्छ। जब मानिसहरू आफ्नो परिवारको स्वास्थ्य र शिक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न सक्षम हुन्छन्, तिनीहरू भ्रष्टाचारमा संलग्न हुने सम्भावना कम हुन्छ।
मेगा परियोजनाहरू, जस्तै जलविद्युत विकास र पर्यटन, प्राथमिकता दिनु पर्छ। आन्तरिक लगानीकर्ताहरूलाई आकर्षित गर्न र सार्वजनिक सहभागितासँग शेयर वितरणमार्फत बजेट व्यवस्था गर्न मद्दत गर्न सक्छ। नेपालका प्राकृतिक सौन्दर्यले पर्यटनको अत्यधिक सम्भावना प्रदान गर्दछ, र माउन्ट एभरेष्ट वा अनूठा ट्री होटेल जस्ता नवाचारी विचारले ठूलो चासो उत्पन्न गर्न सक्छ।
निष्कर्षमा, यी समस्याहरूलाई सम्बोधन गर्दै र युवाहरूको शक्ति प्रभावकारी रूपमा प्रयोग गर्दै राष्ट्रको विकासमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान गर्न सक्छ। राजनीतिक दलहरूले केवल शब्दहरूमा नअल्झेर ठोस कदम चाल्नुपर्छ। यदि तिनीहरूले सुधार गर्न असफल भए भने भविष्यका पीढीहरूले तिनीहरूको मर्म स्पर्श गर्न सक्छन्। अब राजनीतिक दलहरूले ठोस कदम चाल्नको समय आएको छ, र युवाहरूको शक्ति च्यानल गरेर दीगो विकास सम्भव बनाउन सक्छ। परिवर्तन नै आजको युवाहरूको अपेक्षा हो।
